The SOCIMI Silvercode Investments -managed by DRAGO- has signed an agreement with Spaces, the new international workspace offer that promotes a dynamic community for entrepreneurs and companies, that will lease the complete Tower I of the Castellana 200 Complex.
Spaces whose main activity is focused on offering flexible, innovative and dynamic workspaces, following the very current and popular coworking format, in over 100 countries, has decided to reinforce its presence in Spain by leasing this 5,155 m² building. With this opening, there will be three Spaces centers available in the city, in addition to the location that the company has in Barcelona. CBRE, the leading international real estate consulting and services company has advised on the transaction.
Divided into nine diaphanous floors with more than 600 m² that have great luminosity thanks to its integral glass facade, Castellana 200’s office complex was the first to obtain the B+ certification awarded by the Spanish Office Association (AEO), for its excellent qualities and services able to exceed the expectations of the most demanding tenant.
According to Philippe Jiménez, Country Manager of Spaces in Spain: “After our entry in Madrid with Spaces Rio and the imminent opening of Atocha, Castellana 200 will be the third Spaces center in the city. This building has a privileged location in the heart of the city’s business center, which will ensure that the new way of working proposed by Spaces reaches many more businessmen and entrepreneurs in Madrid.” He adds “Spaces continues looking for new locations in Madrid and other Spanish cities to continue with its growth strategy in Spain.”
With this transaction, DRAGO and CBRE have managed to occupy more than 95% of the available office space in Castellana 200, a complex of two office buildings and a shopping center located in Madrid’s Paseo de la Castellana. Tower II has 95% of its rental space occupied by leading companies such as Discovery Channel, Linkedin, CBRE, Ebury, Schweppes, Sony or Hays.
